(1) Regardless of what is written in the prevailing law, if the time limit is served in the name of a foreign person for an offense under this Act, if such person has any office or representative within Nepal, the time limit shall be served in the name of such office or representative and the time limit so served shall be deemed to have been duly served.< br> (2) If there is no office or representative as per sub-section (1), the principal place of business of such person or the address of his permanent residence or any address given by him for correspondence while doing business, through telex, telefax or other means of telecommunication that may be recorded at such address or The due date shall be registered and served by post and the due date so served shall be deemed to have been duly served.
